HOUSING/FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS
Purchasing a home for many is the greatest single financial transaction one will make in their lifetime.
Money Management Counselors has certified housing counselors available to assist you every step of the way in the home buying process. Our counselors will explain the process and your available options in purchasing a home.

We provide home buying education in person and online*. If you seek down-payment assistance or other financial help to purchase your home, most programs require you to obtain 8 hours of education and counseling from a HUD Approved Housing Agency.
Attending one of DMCC's workshops or completing an approved online course and participating in a 2-hour counseling session with one of our counselors (either in person or over the telephone)* will meet most program requirements.
We can also help if you are simply interested in learning more about purchasing a home. We can walk through the "Rent vs. Buy" of homeownership and give you the tools to add to your toolbox to make informed housing decisions. Look for future workshops and online courses in the future.
